Scully Construction Shows Appreciation for White Plains Hospital’s Front-Line Workers by Donating 120 Hot Dinners from Rao’s Restaurant in East Harlem, Ranked Among NYC’s Best Restaurants
North White Plains, NY
Scully Construction joined the list of businesses and local residents supporting the front-line healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic by donating 120 hot dinners to the on-duty staff at White Plains Hospital today. The dinners were prepared by Rao’s Restaurant in Harlem, ranked among the best restaurants in New York City, and transported to White Plains Hospital this afternoon by a team from Scully Construction.
“We wanted to show our appreciation to all that the front-line health-care workers are doing to keep the community safe and treating those who are stricken by this terrible virus,” said Jim Scully Jr., Principal of Scully Construction.
Both Scully, who was born in White Plains Hospital, and his business partner Brian Keating are life-long White Plains residents and many of the front-line healthcare workers at the Hospital are also friends and neighbors.
As a highly valued partner in the White Plans community, Scully Construction recently fast-tracked and completed a pandemic-related project for White Plains Hospital, converting an empty lot into a parking area that could also serve as a potential additional staging area for incoming patients.
